Australian logistics leader Border Express is investing $13 million in a Pick Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet upgrade that includes the addition of 78 new Fuso trucks. The initiative consists of 60 Shogun heavy duty trucks, 15 small Canters and three medium duty Fighters.

Eurocold has taken delivery of its 100th Fuso truck. The Brisbane-based company builds industry-leading refrigerated equipment for sale or long-term rental, using the best trucks and refrigeration technology.

Capral Aluminium recently made its first zero emission deliveries thanks to freight partner Goldstar Transport. Perth-based Goldstar delivered Capral Aluminium products to local customer Bull Motor Bodies, which was excited to receive its first zero emission deliveries. The truck used was a Fuso eCanter, a battery electric vehicle that operates near-silently and produces zero local emissions.

Fuso has started an Australian test program for its next-generation all-electric eCanter. The zero-emission truck has begun an intense testing regime that will see it running day and night completing five double shifts a week on a loop near Melbourne.    

Martin’s Albury has added two new-generation Fuso Rosa buses to its diverse fleet. The premium transport provider was established in 1931 and has grown to feature a fleet of close to 70 coaches and buses.

Arrow Transport and Logistics recently looked to Europe, Japan and the United States for trucks to grow its fleet. Managing Director, Craig Webster, has long been a loyal Mercedes-Benz Trucks customer, but due to supply constraints, the brand was not able to deliver all the Actros units Arrow Transport and Logistics needed.

Fuso’s next generation eCanter is attracting plenty of attention and excitement at the Brisbane Truck Show, which continues at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.  

Fuso will present the next generation eCanter for the first time in Australia at next week’s Brisbane Truck Show. The original all-electric eCanter was the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) electric truck launched in Australia in 2021 and started work for leading fleets including Bunnings, Toohey’s, Coles, Centurion, Goldstar, Linfox, Australia Post and Team Global Express.
